поискала :) французы феерически говорят не только это, но и:

Dieu vous garde du soleil pale le matin et d'une femme qui a etudie le latin
Упаси бог от бледного солнца и женщин изучавших латынь

Enfant nourri de vin et femme qui parle latin ne font jamais bonne fin
Если ребенка кормят вином, а женщина знает латынь - это к добру не приведет.

Epouse qui boit du vin, femme qui parle latin, ont ordinairement mauvaise fin
Если жена пьет вино и знает латынь - добром это не кончится.

ну и так далее (перевод на русский корявый по очевидным лингвистическим причинам :)

Забавные цепи асоциаций: в таких proverbes попадаются сочетания (в произвольном порядке) образов ребенка, кюре, курицы, солнца, женщины и/или жены в комплекте с вином, латынью, пением и танцами.
